Murrumbeena VIC — Quote request

A free quote for your kitchen, written as a scope of works.

A figure on its own tells you very little. What tells you something is a written scope — the cabinetry, the benchtop material, the splashback, the trades and the stages, each one listed so you can read exactly what is included. That document is what we produce for kitchens in Murrumbeena and the surrounding suburbs, and it costs nothing to ask for.

What the written quote contains

Every quote we issue is a document rather than a figure in an email. It sets the work out line by line and names the materials, so you can read exactly what is included, compare it against anything else you are shown, and see immediately what a cheaper number has left out.

04  Trades and site works, listed against the stagesSequence

No line in that document is a placeholder: each one comes from the measure taken in your kitchen and the design direction agreed before anything is priced. The order those stages run in is set out in our 12-step renovation process.

What makes a quote accurate

You do not need to arrive with decisions already made. Most people who enquire know the room they dislike and little else, and that is a perfectly workable starting point — the design conversation exists precisely to close those gaps. What does help, though, is being able to describe four things when we speak, because they are the variables that move a price more than any other.

01  The room — its rough size, and whether walls or windows are stayingExtent

02  The layout — keeping the existing plan, or moving sink and cooktopServices

03  The specification — cabinet finish, benchtop material, appliancesSelection

04  The position — your budget range and when you would like to startScope

Write the room into the message field rather than attaching anything: rough dimensions wall by wall, ceiling height, which appliances are staying or being replaced, and any cabinet finish or benchtop material you are leaning toward. Window positions and where the meter box sits are both worth a line. Photographs can follow by reply once we have written back, or you can simply have them on your phone at the consultation. If you would like to read how each of these variables behaves before you enquire, what drives kitchen renovation costs sets it out in detail.
Stage 04 of twelve

Where the quote sits in the build

The quotation is the fourth of twelve stages. Everything before it is drawing and decision-making; everything after it is ordering and building. Reading the full schedule now tells you what you are agreeing to when you sign the scope.

Quote questions

Before you enquire

Is the quote actually free?

Yes. There is no charge for the consultation, the site measure or the written scope, and no obligation to proceed once you have read it. If the figure does not suit, the document is still yours to compare against anything else you are shown.

Do I need to have chosen materials first?

No. The scope can be written around a specification level — a nominated benchtop category and cabinet finish — and the exact selections confirmed at the materials stage. If you would like a head start, read Kitchen Benchtops and Kitchen Cabinets before we meet.

Can I ask for something smaller than a full renovation?

Often the better question. Doors, benchtop, splashback and handles on an existing layout is a kitchen makeover, not a rebuild, and it is quoted the same way. Tell us the outcome you want and the scope is written to match it — the full list is on the services hub.

Send the kitchen details

Name, email and a message are all that is required. Phone, location, subject, budget and timeframe are optional, and each one you fill in saves a question later. Write the room into the message: rough dimensions wall by wall, which appliances are staying, and any cabinet finish or benchtop material you are leaning toward. Photographs can follow by reply once we have written back.
Every enquiry is answered so the consultation and measure can be arranged. Sending it commits you to nothing — the written scope is yours to read, compare and set aside.

We use these details to respond to your enquiry. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information.
